"The Outdoor Way" is the online shop front for "Holme Valley Sports, Outdoors and County Wear" a retail shop set in Holmfirth, a small West Yorkshire market town on the edge of the Peak District National Park, famed for its long standing links with the hit BBC Television series "Last of the Summer Wine".

Holme Valley Sports, Outdoors and Country Wear was established in 1977 having previously been known as "The Saddlers". A family run business from conception. The shop changed ownership at the start of 2005 but still remains a family run operation. We pride ourselves on the service we provide and the quality of the products we sell, only selling products that we would use and most importantly trust ourselves.

Having recently celebrated its 30th birthday, Holme Valley Sports Outdoors and Country Wear is the areas longest established Outdoor and Country-wear retail shop.

Our aim at "The Outdoor Way" is to provide a range of carefully selected products from many leading manufacturers and to couple this with a personal service backed by many years experience of facing the elements.
